This Privacy Policy explains what data 96 Check App handles and how. The App is built to be data-minimal: it collects only what is needed to perform a lookup, and it keeps your history on your own device. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

When you tap “Check”, the App sends the identifier you entered (such as an IMEI or serial number) to our processing server, together with the basic technical data needed to return a response (for example, a temporary request token and the app version). We do not send your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.

Your check history (the identifier and a short result summary) is stored locally on your device. It is not uploaded to us and is not synced to any account. You can delete a single entry, clear everything from the History screen, or remove all of it by uninstalling the App.

The App contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, shows no ads, and does not build an advertising profile about you. We do not sell or share your data with data brokers. The system advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV) are governed solely by your device settings.

Paid lookups are processed by the App Store. Your payment-card details are handled by the platform and never reach us; we receive only a confirmation that a purchase succeeded so that we can deliver the lookup you paid for.

On supported devices with Apple Intelligence enabled, the App can generate a short, plain-language summary of a result using Apple’s on-device foundation model. This runs entirely on your device: no result data, no identifier, and no generated text is sent to us, to Apple, or to any third party, and nothing is used to train any model. The summary exists only in the current view. On devices that do not support this, the feature is simply unavailable.

Lookup requests are processed in real time. We keep only minimal, short-lived server logs needed to operate and secure the service (for example, to prevent abuse), and we do not use them to build a profile of you. Your on-device history persists until you delete it.

The App is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

You can view, delete, or share your on-device history at any time. Depending on your region, you may have rights to access or erase personal data, and (in some regions) to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Because we hold no account for you and keep only minimal logs, deleting your on-device history and uninstalling the App removes essentially all data associated with you.
